Digital Nyst is a registered business in Pakistan providing digital marketing, web development and e-commerce automation software. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, use our services, or use our software products and apps (together, the "Services").

a) Information you give us

• Name, email address, phone number, website and project details you submit through our contact form or booking calendar.
• Business and account details you share when you become our client.

b) Information from our software products and apps

When a business (a "Merchant") connects its online store, courier account or WhatsApp Business account to our software, we process data on the Merchant's behalf to provide the requested features. This can include:

• Store and order details such as order number, products, order value and payment status.
• Details of the Merchant's customers needed to fulfil orders, such as name, phone number and shipping address.
• Shipping and tracking information from courier services.
• WhatsApp messages and button replies exchanged between the Merchant and its customers through the WhatsApp Business Platform (for example, order confirmation or cancellation).

c) Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data such as browser type, device and pages visited, collected by our hosting and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Information

• To reply to your enquiries and schedule calls.
• To provide, operate and support our Services and software.
• To confirm orders, book shipments, update order status, manage returns and send order-related WhatsApp messages on behalf of Merchants.
• To keep our Services secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Merchants' customer data for our own marketing.

4. Merchants and Their Customers

When we process data through our software, the Merchant decides what data is processed and why, and we act on the Merchant's instructions. If you are a customer of a store that uses our software and have questions about your data, please contact that store first. You can also contact us and we will help where we can.

5. Sharing With Third Parties

We share information only with trusted service providers needed to run our Services, and only as much as is necessary:

• Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) – to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
• Shopify – to read and update store orders, fulfilments and returns.
• Courier companies (such as Leopards Courier) – to book and track shipments.
• Google (Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script) – to store and process data and run automations.
• Formspree and Calendly – to receive website form submissions and manage bookings.
• Hosting providers – to run our website and software.

We may also disclose information if required by law or by a valid request from a government authority.

6. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls, secure (HTTPS) connections and limiting access to authorised people only. Access keys and tokens for connected accounts are stored securely and are never shared. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Services, support our clients and meet legal requirements. When a Merchant stops using our software, we delete or return the Merchant's data within a reasonable time unless we are legally required to keep it.

8. Your Rights

You may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information.
• Stop sending you messages.

9. Data Deletion Instructions

To request deletion of your data, including data received through WhatsApp or Facebook/Meta products used with our Services:

• Send an email to hello@digitalnyst.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".
• Include your name, the phone number or email linked to your data, and (if relevant) the store name.
• We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records by law.

10. WhatsApp Messages

Order messages are sent only for orders placed with a Merchant. You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying to the Merchant or contacting us. WhatsApp's own use of data is governed by WhatsApp's and Meta's privacy policies.

11. Children

Our Services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the "Last updated" date.
